Engen
spent a number of months investigating the need and feasibility of
delivering virtual airtime to its Dealer network. This was done in
response to an increase in the number of Dealer robberies where the
pre-paid airtime was becoming a sought-after item. In addition,
eliminating stock-outs of pre-paid airtime would ensure that no sales
were lost and therefore maximize the huge airtime market for Engen.
After
extensive investigation and consultations with the National Advisory
Counsel, a system has been developed to ensure that Engen Dealers are
able to participate in this multi-million market with ease. The purpose
of this document is to introduce this system.
